Hosted by OACETT's Belonging and Inclusion Committee (BIC), this engaging webinar will explore how accessibility can be practical, achievable, and impactful.
The world of accessibility does not need to be complicated or overwhelming. Nor is it an abstract concept or simply a box to check.
Join Julie Sawchuk, B.Sc., B.Ed., RHFAC, for an engaging and practical discussion exploring what accessibility really means and how we can create spaces that honour the needs of everyone. Through real-life examples and lived experience, Julie will share insights into the barriers many people face and the opportunities we have to design more inclusive environments for all.
This session will address issues that have significant implications for the lives of more than 28% of the population while offering practical takeaways you can apply in your own work and projects.
